Oz is Dead This series is an exploration into the LGBTQ culture that surrounds the Wizard of Oz movie. Sayings like "Are you a friend of Dorothy" were just some of the iconic, "queer" idioms that surfaced due to the relatability of Judy Garlands persecution in the media. I wanted to create a completely "queer" and gender fluid, fashion photo shoot that encompassed these ideas and allowed me to explore them in an experimental way.
